George Clooney Talked About His First Date With Amal And You'll Laugh And Swoon
“We’re here just doing a dumb movie score.”
Back in 2014, acclaimed barrister and human rights activist Amal Alamuddin married some actor guy.
It's the Clooneys. You know them.

This week, Netflix released a revealing interview between George Clooney and David Letterman, where George talked about meeting Amal and dropped some ~deets~.
It was part of Letterman's new Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman.

First off, did you know that George's agent is totally psychic and called the wedding before George and Amal even met?

And George was a little hesitant at first because he thought she just wanted to be friends, which is adorable.

Even cuter than that is the fact that George used to write Amal emails from the perspective of his dog, Einstein.
He would write Amal, pretending to be Einstein, saying things like, "I'm being held hostage, and I need a lawyer."

But the best thing is, George thought he had a really cool idea for a first date: to invite Amal to the recording of a movie score at Abbey Road.

But it turns out that Amal was taking legal action against the Muslim Brotherhood at the time, NBD, but she'd try to stop by.

Seems like George learned quickly just how awesome his future wife was.

But hey, it must have worked!
